the girl at the desk was incredibly helpful and courteous. Despite the power being off, she went out of her way to provide us with a banana and yogurt for breakfast. the bed in the room was very comfortable and the linens were nice. the staff were all friendly and polite. the pool and hot tub were well maintained, and the hotel was conveniently located near the Florentine Seniors residence. There were also several restaurants within walking distance, including popular fast food options like Starbucks and Tim Horton's. the hotel had a clean and well-stocked breakfast room where guests could interact with each other. it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

The staff was extremely helpful, and kind. The continental breakfast was well looked after by staff, and was adequate, and a good feature.

It was under renovation, and carpets etc are very old and worn.

Aside fr price and politeness of staff it was truly horrid. Sink. Did not drain and pool was the most awful we have ever seen. Carpets dirty also. We would never stay in a travel lodge hotel again.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Merritt for a quick overnight stay and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a flat panel TV and good internet connection. The location was convenient, right off the highway, and despite facing the road, the room was surprisingly quiet. The hotel was also close to various food options, including McDonald's, Tim Horton's, and Starbucks. I had a positive experience at this hotel and would recommend it.

Nothing - we were disappointed. The shower bar and curtain were the only thing in the room that was updated.

It is very run down with a disgusting lobby, no elevators, run down room and bathroom, no restaurant and no room service. It does not offer flat screen tvs as promised and the featured free breakfast (included in the room price) did not open until 7 which was too late for us as we needed to get back on the road. It's located in a hotel strip and the other properties offered the same pricing and better amenities.

Despite some limited parking in the back, I had a pleasant experience overall at George Mountain View Hotel & Resto. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Location and facilities for tourists.

The room I stayed in at George Mountain View Hotel & Resto was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel also had a pool that provided a refreshing break from the summer heat. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

Location - convenient stop a few minutes off transcanada highway. Kids enjoyed the pool, having free breakfast is a good thing too. There were a fridge and microwave in a room.

Very strong smell of chemicals in a room, not sure if it is a paint or carpet cleaner. Good sized but very uncomfortable beds with those old spring mattresses without anything on top, awful pillows, but that is a norm in a hotels like that, we always take our own pillows, so wasn't big deal for us. Very very basic continental breakfast, only black not the best kind of tea and coffee, no eggs, some very colored cereal and oatmeal, but waffles were good.

We particularly liked the design of the floor plan. Although on the second floor, we still had parking right to the door of that floor.
